In all my years of blogging, where I started with WordPress and went on to self-hosting, I learned to do it all. Every single step in learning something new was invigorating for me, and I do it every few years. Try something new on a new site. To break off all the barriers of my past blogs and websites, I decided, in the ever-evolving world of website builders, to go with Showit.

Squarespace was also one of my options, but something about Showit pulled me in from the get-go. Hence this blog post to show you why Showit stands out as a beacon of creative freedom and flexibility. Here, I’ll share my journey of why I went with this platform over all others, highlighting the pros and cons along the way. If you are on the crossroads, my post might will undoubtedly help you decide.

Nothing about my older websites and blogs was making me feel alive. I felt I was starting a new life as an entrepreneur. I certainly needed something more, beyond the social media. A place to call my own and where I can write my own views. Besides, as an entrepreneur, my website is my digital forefront to showcase my brand, connect with my audience and drive conversions. When I set out to build my website, I knew I needed a platform that would not only meet my needs but also allow me to unleash my creativity. I needed to stand out in the crowded online space. Above all, a platform that would reflect the inner ME.

It was per chance, while consuming content on Pinterest, a post managed to grab my interest. It led me to the first sight of Showit. A revolutionary website builder that combines drag and drop simplicity with unparalleled design flexibility. I have used Divi and Elementor, and I know that they have a steep learning curve. I needed something that would not be as difficult as them, yet challenging. To be honest, at first, I too was scared if I would be able to use this website builder with ease. From the moment I discovered Showit, I was captivated by its intuitive interface and limitless customization options.
I’ve undoubtedly learned many things about Showit in these few months. But I know there’s still many things that I need to know in order to become a designer. Here are some of the reasons why I ultimately chose Showit as my go-to platform.

Also, they have a Facebook group where the Showit community is a vibrant and supportive network of designers, developers, and entrepreneurs. People who are passionate about helping each other succeed. Nothing beats the feeling that comes over when you realize that you are part of kind and encouraging people.

Stteep monthly or annual subscription: This might be a big con for people who have a limited budget because Showit does not come cheap. What you would spend to get 8 years of subscription from Bluehost and Hostinger, you would need to spend to get 1 year of Showit subscription. I needed to save money before I could buy the subscription.
Showit does not charge separately for hosting, but it operates on a subscription-based pricing model. That may not be ideal for budget conscious entrepreneurs. You have to buy your custom domain from Squarespace or GoDaddy. I bought mine from Squarespace since Google domains have been taken over by Squarespace.
Despite these potential drawbacks, I firmly believe that Showit offers unparalleled creative freedom and flexibility for entrepreneurs, who are passionate about crafting a unique online presence. Like Moi. With Showit, I’ve been able to bring my vision to life in ways I never thought possible. From customizing my website’s layout and typography to integrating multimedia elements like video backgrounds and interactive galleries.
In the competitive landscape of website builders, Showit stands out as the game changer for entrepreneurs, who refuse to settle for the status quo. With its intuitive interface and seamless WordPress integration, I found Showit empowering. It helped me to create a website that reflects my brand’s personality. This captivates my audience from the moment they land on my page.
I hope at the end of this post I have cleared all your doubts. My comment section is open if you want to ask anything more.
Remember, your website is often the first impression potential clients have of your business. Make it count with a customized Showit template that’s as unique and fabulous as you are!
